The site has recently bought out and completed the relocation of Vegas 247 Poker accounts. Not much has changed for Vegas users in the transition. Absolute Poker will still honor the benefits that Vegas 247 Poker's members has acquired, such as bonuses and reward points, and the online poker tournaments will continue as scheduled. Absolute Poker now offers those users better bonuses and a safer playing environment. If the user desires, they may bounce between either account.
The site has announced the new addition of Absolute Buddy as well, a feature which allows users who have made friends in the poker rooms to view which tables their buddies are seated in. Absolute has made it possible to instantly connect with poker or blackjack players that members have added to their buddy list, much like an instant messaging service. Players will be immediately notified when a buddy joins a game, what sort of game it is, and is able to transmit them into that table. With each buddy a player may record notes regarding them, and players will not be notified when they are added to the buddy list. This gives players a new advantage over each other, as they will be able to build new strategies against those they've become familiar with. Additionally, users can now keep track of those that they have dominated over in the past. To ensure the security of an account, users may also block a member from viewing their information. The new feature promises to make the site more enjoyable for everyone, and also to generate a greater fan base.
Probably the most exciting and well received addition to Absolute Poker is the introduction of the instant deal option. This new feature will be available at final tables and will enable users to walk away with a smaller winning or take their loses and run, should other members decide that an agreement can be reached. Essentially how the new software works is that users will be presented with a "Deal Making" button when they have entered into the final table of an online poker tournament. If a user decides that they do not wish to risk playing for the full pot, they may request via the button to make a deal with the other players. The other players will be immediately informed of this proposal, and may choose to click yes or no. If a user clicks no, the tournament will resume as scheduled. If all parties agree to cut a deal an administrator will be assigned to mediate discussion. This new function will certainly make it easier to earn some decent money in poker games without the chance of a substantial loss.
